about

"Tensho-Rinne" is a widely recognized spiritual concept in Japan which is based on a mixture of Japanese, Buddhist, and Shintoist viewpoints. This piece, however, is not advocating any particular religion or spiritual belief. Yet, the construction of the piece and the compositional process reflect the concept of Tensho-Rinne. This composition is a very accurate reflection and a portrait of myself as composer and musician.
